International Chess Day 2026 | Every Move Creates a Better Tomorrow This International Chess Day, Pawns to Kings celebrated chess not just as a game, but as a powerful tool for education, inclusion, and positive social change. As part of our #FromScreensToSquares movement, we brought together educators, policymakers, psychologists, parents, and young minds to start an important conversation on promoting healthier screen habits and encouraging children to engage in activities that foster critical thinking, creativity, and meaningful human connections. A key highlight of the celebration was the launch of our comic-style Chess Training Book, complemented by animated learning videos in English, Hindi, Assamese, and other regional languages. By blending storytelling, illustrations, and engaging characters, we are making chess fun, accessible, and easy to learn for every child—regardless of language or background.
